With this Knowledge Base we hope to have provided some useful information to help our clients and also answered some of the frequently asked questions we receive.
Client Support

You have received a Build Me A Website invoice and you would like to pay using PayPal. You can make payment via PayPal with or without a PayPal account.
Your invoice will probably look something like the sample below:-

How to make payment
1. Open the email invoice and click the pay invoice link.
2. The page that opens will be the Build Me A Website Client Area login page. Using your Build Me A Website username and password log into the secure area, there is a reminder of your username (email address) and password included within the invoice.
3. Once logged in you will see the invoice you are about to make payment for. In the top right corner you will find a ‘PayPal’ button, click the button.
4. You will then be taken to a secure page on the PayPal website, if you already have a PayPal account enter your PayPal username and password and log in to make payment.
5. If you do not have a PayPal account you can pay by Credit Card, click the ‘Continue’ button on the left. On the next page enter your payment details and finalise payment.
Once payment has been received you will receive email confirmation from Build Me A Website.

Your Website

1. Go to your websites admin page, e.g www.your-website.co.uk/wp-admin (Replace your-website.co.uk with your correct website domain name).
2. Enter your username and password and log in.

If you have access to your websites statistics page or your websites blog we will have sent you a username and password which will allow you to log in.
Your username is usually your first name. The password is a default password which we recommend that you change straight away, to do so please follow the instructions below.
1. Go to your websites admin page, e.g www.your-website.co.uk/wp-admin (Replace your-website.co.uk with your correct website domain name).
2. Enter your username and password and log in.
3. On the left of the page click the “Profile” link
4. On this page you can change your password and any other of your profile details, once done click the “Update Profile” button at the bottom of the page.

2. Enter your username and password and log in.
3. On the left of the page click the “StatPress” link.
4. You will now be able to view your websites statistics, on the left of the page are further links for various other stats.
Managing Your website

To save the video to your computer for future reference right click here and select ‘Save link as’, you will then have be able to save to your computer.

Your Email Account

1. Log into your Gmail email account
2. Click ‘Settings’ in the top right corner
3. Click the ‘Accounts’ tab
4. Click the ‘Google Account Settings’ link
5. In the ‘Personal Settings’ section, next to Security click the ‘Changing your password’ link
6. Enter your current password and your desired new password, then click the ‘Save’ button
Choosing a password:-
- Your password should be easy for you to remember without being obvious for someone else to guess.
- Don’t choose a dictionary word as your password.
- Include a variety of characters, such as punctuation marks, numbers, and mix capital and lower case letters.
- Never tell anyone your password.
- Never write down your password. Even if you don’t think that somebody would know that it was your Gmail password if they saw it, think of a way to remember it so that you don’t have to write it down.
- Periodically change your password.
